What if a builder is doing it for his own hobby and not looking for advertising
or customers to do there work. Such as vintage restorations or other builds.Do
we post here or in general forum.

Also the oil thread, I'm not so sure about that as they can turn into

Most of the pissers and whiners aren't in the oil thread (or here at all) any more. 99.9% or the participants in the oil thread now are good ol boys talking about and testing what oil they're currently using and showing results. Some of those results are good, some not so much. But now it's mostly friendly discussion

I think the builders should post oil "recommendations" for they're ported saws. At least for people who don't know much about it.

Oh now the oil wars are a hoot .You can really crank em up.

I'm only a builder per se on my own stuff and never had nor will have a desire to do custom work .That said very seldom will a builders who do it for a living show much or explain much >it's top secret you know and only they can do it .Nonsense.

Randy AKA Mastermind is one of the very few who will actually discuss much about it with pictures etc .Just my observation .

I've gotten very little in the way of interest from anyone that builds saws. For now, let's just let it go. From what I'm seeing on the forum, we have a damn good crew. In all honesty, I think all these guy will gladly stand behind their work.
