I don’t have a problem being a downer whether it’s practical for you or not. It’d be easy enough to build a skidder trailer and haul it that way. I broke the front axle on an IH 1086 by wanting “just a little more”. I built a counterweight with two 55gal concrete filled barrels and went to work. Didn’t take long and the front end was on the ground.

You do you and hopefully you don’t break stuff. You likely won’t but I’m a bit gun shy as I have by doing what you did. These machines are very capable right until they aren’t lol.
