For whatever it's worth, I once asked a buddy who builds competition saws about carb mods like that, he said for non-competition applications they aren't worth the trouble. If you're racing a guy and need that 1/10 of a second to win they're worth it, but in day to day use nobody's gonna notice.I went ahead and thinned the shafts on the carb this morning, maybe it will help.
