you fappers made fun of me when I said I could match or beat a ported 661 with a stock 661 just by changing the oil ratio. I do recall hedgerow and I both cut with each. 36" bar + new full comp chains for both.

averages were
ported ~25.0
stock ~ 25.4

Pretty damn close to matching wasn't it!

Go ahead give me more chit :P I'll be at the finish line drinking your beer while your still cutting. :campeon:

Thomas made his opinion clear and so did I. People crazy enough to read through this mess can decide for themselves.

I bet if you open the cover it is like stripping the paint and the white pages inside will be cooler .:deal:

I know about where you live.....she was never that hot to start with
Troof.

@Redbull661 I have no beef with you or your methods, and I'm not poking fun at either. On the contrary, I wish I had half of your drive and ambition, no joke.

Just trying to inject a little humor is all. Life's too damn short to be serious all the time, don't sweat the small stuff.

I'll step aside now.

I was taught in trade school that the reason copper radiators were painted black is to help draw the heat away from the coolant inside ,so they may be hotter to touch when painted over an unpainted radiator .Does this have anything to do with a bar feeling hotter ,Heck if i know but thought i would add this to the thread .Was also told that guys that built hotrods and polished the brass radiator tanks to bling out under the hood was a bad idea because it may cause the car to run hotter with the bare tanks .
This was 30 ears ago ,and i am sure things have change since then .

You guys need to get laid
<Skippy >, was highly resistant to removing the paint on bars.
Can't see $#it with the sun reflecting off the bar!
The bar heat kept the carb icing issues down.
Newly applied "Frogskins," melted off the filter cover.
I spent too much time
"over-engineering" the paint removal process.
Now, my "divorced source," has left me alone, to get paint layed on the bar once more.
The fair weather fellers are cutting way too many cookies to get the bar heat up this high.
Who's getting laid now?

I don't know if this has anything to do with anything but many quality RSN bars have black sprocket noses, think Sugi, Tsumura, GB, Windsor ST, Carlton etc. There are just as many in other colors too but black tips are common. I still think cylinder temps have NO relation to paint on or off a bar unless its in the rails causing extra drag.
