Just soften the hose with a BIC lighter.
Wave it through the blue portion of the flame for about 5 seconds.
Done

Biggest thing I've learned with that style oil line is to cut it exactly to the spec measurement. Otherwise the brass barb end tends to work itself loose in the case then you have an oil leak worse than normal.

I drill out the hole it passes thru a little........that way I can slide it back and forth. I leave it long and mark it to length. Press the brass end in it then push it home as I install the pump.

Both ends broke off the wiring harness at the coil connections. I have to make up a harness from on MS460 one. Grrrrrrrr

The saw had the wrong size fuel filter in it too. Looks like a 60cc filter......yeah that stuff matters.

What caused it in this situation? The guy that built this saw is a *dipstick.
