I got on the computer to look at the pics Keith. Dude.......you gotta work on you photo taking skills. lol

So, the jug is close to unmolested? The piston was in backward, and hung a ring on the exhaust side?

Correct?

That saw is a typical loggers saw,I see that everyday, most of the time they still fun.

Like randy said, she hung a ring.

I agree with JM, half ass begets half ass till you end up with what you have.

That is the great part. It was running. Just needed a couple screws and a quick check, so i was told.

This was not known to be ported.

From what I can see, this ain't really a ported saw at all. Sorta mangled maybe....

Is the top of the intake port raised?

"Ported"...."Mangled"...sometimes the lines between the two are not so clear...

Sorry Keith, pics were tough to see, looked like someone "tried" to bevel and grind some. I wuz rong.:asz:

Has to be the toughest most reliable saw ever buit. I've seen them worse being used everyday.

Tough call Jay...
I think the 200t run by the tree service "apes" are tougher....but not by much as there are not too many trees bigger then the capabilities of an 066, but a 200t is asked to buck up a lot of tree that it was never intended to.

so who's tougher on stuff ?
logger gorillas or bucket apes ?

No tree service around here only loggers.

I've seen some pretty bad saws so I'm going with a logger, some take care some dont.

A 660 don't care if you care for it or not.

that's funny stuff, around here we have NO logging...but lots of Mexican tree climbers....Mexican "Engineering" keeps us busy !!!

I don't think the ring was broke.

Most are head knockers
