I'm thinking one of these round elements may be the way to go.

Keeps the air injection functional, won't be rubbing on the choke/throttle shaft.

Does the grooving iron work well on plastic?

Not this plastic at all....

I was really surprised how little I made it. Unless the head was dragging and making a mess on both sides of the cut. Still a lot of pressure.

If one were cutting a ton of plastic a hot wire would be the only way I think...

Joe if you need plastic parts in the future, I'd be happy to throw it on the 3d printer. Basic measurements is all I really need. I even have orange and red colors.

Ok, I need 4 bottom plates, and 4 top cones. Might as well make 4 middle cages I can glue maxflo 60 pore foam too...

Joe, Could that be adapted/modified to fit on a 044/046? I think you could make a fortune. I’d love to run a maxflo type filter under the stock cover.

I despise the Maxflo 044/046 cover. Wish they made it look as nice as the 661 version.
