Ok, just got word tonight that my brother got the lathe working again....new belt....works fine

I'll make some time midweek to get some sleeves made. gotta get this thing moving again!

Dunno what I'll get done today..but it'll be more than a few. As long as I get the rods soon...I'll start shipping again

Well I spent the bulk of the afternoon working on the lathe making these sleeves I am not quite finished but it's very close which means that early next week the sleeves should be done

I *should* be getting some rods soon, which means I'll be contacting my gen 1 customers to see if they want an upgrade. The gen 1 people will have preference because they were first adopters. Once I get through that list, and get the remainder of the rods... 3 weeks? I'll be contacting the people on the gen 2 main list.

Right now I have 23 people on the BACKUP list for gen 2! I have no idea how I'm going to fulfill all these orders, but rest assured I will be finding some type of solution.

Fred has a tight schedule and only has certain availability for doing machining.... as do I. If this gets a whole lot more popular I will likely look for an alternative machining solution.

Ok, Fred is at the post office with SOME rods. This means that end of this week, I'll contact those people that have bought the gen 1 kits, and offer them to upgrade the kits. I'm giving the gen 1 people 1st shot at this.

Next couple weeks Fred should have the rest of the rods ready... which means that I'll be contacting the first 20 people on the gen 2 list.

For those on the BACKUP list, I have no eta. ... though I DEFINITELY INTEND to fill these orders one way or another.

Because there has been such interest, I may have to pursue other avenues of selling these... since obviously I can't keep up with demand.

m10x1.0 and m10x1.5 both left hand
m12x1.0 and m12x 1.25 both left hand
m14x1.0 and m14x1.25 both left hand

I finished Machining all of the sleeve blanks that I have obviously I will need to order some more but at this point as soon as I get the rods from Fred I will be sending out some emails

nuts that fit...

I have 5/8" nuts.... they don't want to on the rods. the rod is 5/8" 11 tpi. the nuts I bought... who knows.

ok, galvanized nuts work fine... bright nuts don't work on a galv rod....

ok... now I just gotta find a few minutes to get some upgrade kits together and send some emails

I have a bunch of sleeves made up. Fred is working on the rods. As soon as I get those I'll inform those on the original gen 2 list.

just fyi, less than half of my gen 1 customers opted for the gen 2 upgrade. I think 2 opted out, the rest I haven't heard from.
