-6F air temp now. 20-25mph winds.
A bunch of schools closed.
Of course, the district I am in did not.
My girls are pissed!

Tomorrow our high temp is supposed to be -12, without the winds we are supposed to have.

Was10 up to 12° guessers still want 5 in 20 hours or so before warming trend begins. If I didn't have a doctor's appointment Thursday I would visit my grandbabies in Vegas starting 48 hours ago.

This is a dry cold !! Or there'd be snow down to 3° F, sposed 2 be coldest 4 the day/month.

Dry snow does not pack and sounds like you are walking on corn flakes. Even more exciting when your breath makes icicles on any facial hair and your eyelids freeze shut when you blink. That's after only a few minutes.

That's like me pouring water on my windshield and it freezing, then have a fog like dew also when topping a hill coming from a bottom on the highway and the crap freezes to ice when turning the wipers on. Not fun when your windshield turn to white ice.
