Don't know much about it other than when I bought my first one, the owner asked if I wanted stihl bar studs left in it or if I wanted him to reinstall the original dolmar studsSay what? Any other details on this? Any other parts need changing? @Stump Shot What do you think of this idea?
Sure they do...with a $12 adapter

Not sure. Already have one bar too many and they would both be in obsolescence with different studs, but I'll fix it up any way you like.

Gary I got mine from homelite410 and it works great with all my stihl bars. Having to only keep one mount on hand is the only way to go. I will have to do some digging as I may have one I can ship to Steve if you would like.
The same adapter for Husky isn't right on a dolmar. It'll work, but you have to take the screw out that holds the bar plate in place and use it without that. You'd want a dolmar specific adapter that actually screws in place if you were going to leave it there. Dolmar stud spacing is less than huskyI have an adapter from my previous foray in to Husky saws. Likely just go the way it is.

I don't know the answer to that. I believe all the pro saws are the same though. Order a cheap set of farmertecs to see if they fit and if so you could go oem. Only cost a couple bucks to tryHit the save button in my head. Thanks Kevin. What stihl studs fit specifically? 460 ones?
Hydraulic@leadfarmer hey Rodney, just curious, was it a kinetic splitter?
Thanks. I was curious because those kinetics are wicked fast.Hydraulic
