They are great little saws. This is a new one with a manufacturer date of 7/18 stamped on the cylinder, I'll have to ask where it came from.

They're available at your Stihl dealer. They may have to order one or may have it in stock

I didn't think they still made non MT saws that are now available with MT.

I was planning on getting one until I found they seemed to only be MT now.

Just bought one this spring. I'd think they're still available. I haven't heard otherwise at least

I was initially against mtronic saws, but I got me a 261cm. I am very impressed. So far, so good! Very strong, pulls real hard. I run 32:1 and check saw over regularly. My only complaint is that the fuel tank seems smaller. Fellow members posted the stats that showed otherwise that it is the same as MS260, but.....
Otherwise you should try one.
