Very nice what are your intentions with this saw?Putting back together another nice 2100
Not sure yet. But if it sits around here long enough, it will get sent down the road.Very nice what are your intentions with this saw?

I havent worked on these much but just learned to make sure the intake spacer is on the cylinder before the cylinder goes on the case.Putting back together another nice 2100
Yep and they crack if you crank on the screws to hard. Don't ask me how I know : (I havent worked on these much but just learned to make sure the intake spacer is on the cylinder before the cylinder goes on the case.
Wish I had read that somewhere first. Maybe someone will stumble into this before they do the same thing.
No gasket thereis there supposed to be a gasket between the carb and the filter elbow? Mine didn't have one when I took it apart... seemed like it had a good flat mating surface that nothing would get in there...
Yes definitely a learning curve. But once the 2100 Is learned, it's one of the most simpl, and easy to work on designs I've seen.I havent worked on these much but just learned to make sure the intake spacer is on the cylinder before the cylinder goes on the case.

Heres mine with a 36". It still needs a chain tho. I just worked a deal with a friend for an old 2100 and 3 boxes of parts for $250. Still gotta pick it up. The saw is kinda rough but has pretty new top-end. Tons of compression but no spark.
