My friend just sent me Facebook message. The other day checking in. He's off with wife and baby new dad. He says my cousin just have me a saw, he can't use anymore. Bought it brand new from a dealer, back when he was logging. What do you know, a sweet ass 2100 Gordon, says Norm This thing fired right up, I tried it on a big log. Said it is a beast and it's got some redwood coast history....

I just spent two weeks over in Cali but I didn`t get up North this trip, did get over to Yosemite to see some big trees and a lot of towering rock formations. Spent some more time trekking among the Redwoods.

Hey norm! Yes sir, your original 2101 thread opened my eyes to the 2100 and it's legendary awesomeness! Also met some men dedicated to helping one another on that thread. My 2100 needed the exhaust bolt holes welded and retapped. Srcarr52 saw the post. Offered his services. Threw in a dual port muffler and a port job....just because it was Christmas time.

Still trying to talk my friend out of his 2100. Meanwhile my friend up the hill just had one given to him by his cousin. Overall comparison to my today newer saws, heavier for sure. But you can Yardley kill em, the durability has no equal....
