Newer bosch plugs seem to be junk. I’ve had bad luck with em too. Swap for Ngk or champion problem fixed.

The spikes.....clutch drum maybe. Not much.

Checking the coil now.

On the later version of the MS880, a slightly altered MS361 coil could be used to get rid of the RPM limiter. The 361 coil doesn't fit this saw.

Yes, thats a bark box. Buddy of mine has one on his 661 and holy mother of god is it deafening loud, even with ear pro.

I'm kinda surprised the aftermarket guys didn't make dual port covers for these new saws. They'd sell like crazy.

The Bark boxes are really popular here on the west coast, seems like every Stihl has one now, those and the WCS 3 point dogs have exploded in popularity for all brands.

That is a spit back guard. I intend to keep it.....but it slides right off if you want rid of it.

It might be cool and all to run very loud saws but hearing damage is a real thing.
Any employers would want to be careful having bark boxes on there saws and letting hired help use them for any length of time just saying..
On a individual level I guess guys running excessively loud saws won't miss there hearing until it's gone one day lol
