It kills me seeing stihl slowly do away with the screw-on filter cover. One of the reasons I switched to Stihl.

Maybe the 462 was designed to be ran with there lightweight bars.

All in all the 462 is tough to beat in the segment.

Stihl was getting killed by husky so they stepped up thier game.

Home run out of the park!

No worries Ryan. We're all big boys here. But he is right. These twist on filters suck as far as tightness goes. Should be able to get much more torque when twisting it on. Shouldn't have to rely on the soft squishy rubber to seal it up.

Idk about the big boys part..I see some guys on here turn into a 12 year old girl pretty quick sometimes..

I don't know about cranking down the air filter tight as can be ..that doesn't really mean jack sh!t to me...as long as it filters air well who cares.
