A lot of guys used to put light weight flywheels on their hot rod cars, resulting in a motor that accelerated faster.

I was not a fan, thought it made it too tough to come out of the hole right, and then to keep tractions afterwards.

A lot of them light the tires up too much during a race.

Both the bar, and the saw, are pretty + light! Did not even fire her up yet, but had to do a muffler mod!

13 lb 4 oz, that is 13 + 1/4 lbs!!!

And that 20" light bar, 2 lb 0.8 oz is the lightest 20" bar I have had on the scale, and it is a yellow (wider) tip bar! My Sugi is 2 lb 3.1 oz., and that is the next lightest!

This thing S/B sweet!

Oh, and let me tell you, those folks who think I'm crazy using the HD Thread Locker on my saws … they never pulled a muffler on one of these … real hard to pull, they used some real HD stuff, and lots of it!

Hopefully I'll get to play with it a bit before Tax Season. Thanks for the prompt service Mark!

So, I was going through the owners manual and I guess we are all in trouble … it says "never run a modified saw" … gee, who knew???

Of course the Germans have this so well organized that the instructions on how to start the dang thing are not until page 43!

I also see they have changed their octane recommendations. Used to be 91 (for the 362), now it is 89!

I guess Stihl forgot to proof read their manual. On page 63 the 24/5 and 28" bars are referred to as 20" bars (both in .050 and .063).

Nothing here gets put away, the Mustang drives in the Winter (w/Blizzacks) and my saws see wood, ATVs, Trailers, etc!

I'm just hoping to be able to run it before Tax Season, cause that is when all my toys will hibernate! (Except I keep driving the Mustang). It starts, for me, on Friday.

Yikes Mike. I am sure you will have plenty of time this spring and summer to run it.

She has been fueled, oiled and fired up. Real nice response, but has not seen wood yet. Today is nicer than I expected, so I have made arrangements to drop a tree for a neighbor and give her a little workout! I left the muffle baffle as is, it does not look to be restrictive to me. Odd shaped though, tall and thin! Don't know the purpose, but I'm sure there is one!

My 2 - 1/4" holes in the side of the muffler cover just seem to be my signature mod for all 440/460/461 and now 462 saws! If I don't like it, it is easy to just get a new cover!
