I did some boring on some fat rounds in my yard last night with a 24” tsumura full wrap. Light and handy. Pulled/lugged it well. I’ll have to try 28” skip. So I went out and dumped a couple trees with the 266. Worked fine. Then I came home and did some testing and my newer ported 60cc saws stomped on the stock 266 in power, speed, and smoothness…
@mettee starting cuts or cleaning out faces chest high on awkward ground is when you want a light grunt saw that can pull chain from an idle vs. a Cookie Monster.

The 266? A couple pounds less than a 7900. But stock, not even in the same ballpark as the 7900 power wise. The 6100 has more snort I think. 6100 weighs about the same.How much does that saw weigh

I'm confused, did you mis-type 266 in your first post or is the 2166 comparison in addition to a 266 comparison?6100 is 1 lb lighter than 2166, 7900 is 1 lb heavier than 2166. The 6100 is heavy for it’s ccs, but also powerful for its ccs, so…
