Sometimes Dave responds quicker to Email. He said he checks it more frequently than PMs.

Must be busy. Sometimes its a day through PM before I hear from him

And that's completely understandable. I hate to sound as if I'm in a huge hurry, but I kind of am. I'd love the chain and sprockets to arrive along with the saw instead of a couple weeks later. That 026 has work to do lol.

sorry guys i'm tits deep in paperwork

ok if you have a stihl 026 clutch drum, the only pico rim available in Mini spline is the OEm stihl 7 pin here:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/OEM-Stihl-C...00-642-1240-New-MS260-026-READ-/322273936535?

if you have an oregon clutch drum that take the standard spline rims your options open up alot
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Stihl-Husqv...-034-pico-7-tooth-small-spline-/322076374121?

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Stihl-Husqv...-034-pico-8-tooth-small-spline-/222088378338?

keep in mind that these rims fit two ways so make sure everything is lined up properly for your saw/bar combo, also these sprockets tend to wear the drive links on a chain more than standard sprockets

I picked up an OEM Stihl 7t for $7 shipped on the 'Bay. I have the correct bar coming with the saw from Al.

Now to get chains built and track down this 8t...

Duane(Pa) said:
The8t was made by mother Stihl, then discontinued (NLA). I have one that I bought at the end of production, and it makes mysaws feel boggy

Maybe @Duane(Pa) will sell his :)

It's the classic unobtainium scenario. It happens in every hobby/pursuit I have ever been involved with. I'm just saying don't loose any sleep over the P8 rim. The 7 doesn't suck. Deets is right the only larger diameter (stock) rim I have ever seen is .325 x 9

If eyes ewe, I'd get @Icepick69 to square up some PS and send it your way. All my Picco is round, but square chain is where it's at...

That right there is some top shelf deflection. "This is not the sprocket you're looking for..."

I didn't start the thread to debate or to be talked out of anything. I know what I want. I've just not been able to track it down yet.

What exactly are you after? A limbing setup or go fast play? If'n the latter go true 3/8.

Ok so it looks like I'm stuck searching for a NOS gem of an 8t hiding somewhere, or a used one from one of the collectors of chainsaw curios.

Damn. Gotta find a collector.
Good luck 8t is not available in us have to go 7p allready been that route
