Took another look at the saw tonight, decided to re-cut a new piston(knew there was a reason I bought two) after measuring everything twice I realized I did not have to take much off to miss the crankshaft as I had thought and still have a little clearance. Free port was completely eliminated with a .020" lap of the exhaust port by the skirt. Checked timing and nothing great, came real close to the original before numbers. Have a much better plan of attack now as things are looking betterer and stuff. Was getting pretty tired so I called it a wrap for tonight...

Decided to put some parts on the cases seeing as they should stay together now. Everything was going well until I could not find the little square cut seal for the oil pump output. Have a pile of extra stuff sent, but not a trace of the rubber seal. Have to go in MacGyver mode I guess.

Coil went in nice.

I just went though my spare parts and I believe I have an extra one of those. Let me know if you would like me to send it to ya. I would call it a "flat cut" tube. ID about 3/16, OD about 5/16, length about 3/16.

If you also got an extra gas line (like I did) it seems you could cut the end off of that and it would also "match".

Good thinking Mike, I think there's an extra and I'm not even using the one that came with, so I will look into that.
