Took another look at the saw tonight, decided to re-cut a new piston(knew there was a reason I bought two) after measuring everything twice I realized I did not have to take much off to miss the crankshaft as I had thought and still have a little clearance. Free port was completely eliminated with a .020" lap of the exhaust port by the skirt. Checked timing and nothing great, came real close to the original before numbers. Have a much better plan of attack now as things are looking betterer and stuff. Was getting pretty tired so I called it a wrap for tonight...

Decided to put some parts on the cases seeing as they should stay together now. Everything was going well until I could not find the little square cut seal for the oil pump output. Have a pile of extra stuff sent, but not a trace of the rubber seal. Have to go in MacGyver mode I guess.

Coil went in nice.

I just went though my spare parts and I believe I have an extra one of those. Let me know if you would like me to send it to ya. I would call it a "flat cut" tube. ID about 3/16, OD about 5/16, length about 3/16.

If you also got an extra gas line (like I did) it seems you could cut the end off of that and it would also "match".

They were just both in the same "left over parts bag", so it was just easy to stumble upon the fact that they were the same size.

Had to grind the end of the driver for the oil pump gear as it was hitting the housing. Greased the heck out of it, might last a few cuts, which is all this thing has to do anyway.

Could be Dallas, my give a damn is near to bust though on a saw to make three cuts with and retire. A lot of what goes on here I would never go and do on a real saw.
