+1Ass kisser!
love looking at old AJS,Matchless, vincent,Norton's.never could afford one so had to stick with jap and a few italian bikes.
Starting riding jap crap when I was a kid, still do, love em.
Same here we never wanted the British bikes always breaking down and none of em would go or corner like the jap bikes
But there's this guy named Dallas who picks on usThere's way too much good going on for the site not to prevail. The moderator have done an excellent job making this the best forum going. Thanks to them and all the wonderful contributors as well.
brits were known for handling. took japs til mid 70s to start taking that seriously. on & off road.
suz tm400, kaw h2, just 2 examples of fast & ill handling. yam rd350 was one exception and pretty much ended the brit twins [and triples] in roadracing.
"better to be fast on a slow bike than be slow on a fast bike." -dick mann in the 60s, racin bsa, when japs started out.
Had a 1968 Norton Atlas with the featherbed frame that loved twisty roads
That guys a dickBut there's this guy named Dallas who picks on us
