I was told the lawn boy sign was never hung up in the shop. That was found covered in the dust shown above on a shelve lost over time.
It cleaned up good with a quick wipe down.

That's some really cool stuff. Great condition. I found a local repair shop's sign at a flea market a few years ago. It now hangs in my shop at home.

Mine is smaller, 24 x 24. However, my youngest son has all the room taken up doing over his Bronco 2.
I kind of got pushed to the side. I don't mind though. :)

Looking at an Ipl for my model, 7084, I don't see an upper crank seal. Am I missing something?

Are the upper and lower seals the same? Or do I have to get a magneto assembly to get the seal.
Not sure the seals are even bad. I can get Caber rings for it and thought I'd put new seals in at the same time.

The seal is just in the mag ipl it is replaceable and you do not need a new mag plate.

That nice 2 cycle smell is just part of the lawn-boy grass cutting experience and it keeps the bugs away too !

Found a spot for the lawn boy sign today and was 40" .

After pricing used LB signs not near as nice. I guess it will stay right where its at.

There is some real serious L-B collectors out there and I keep seeing the prices of vintage mowers going up so the demand and interest in them is there .

Guess I need to check and see if mt bro still has his ole LB's in his barn. I know dad had a couple too.
They might be somewhere as they never throw out stuff.

I would say so , looks like all early to mid 60's C engine powered mowers .
Easy bring 5 times that or more in parts on Ebay or fix and enjoy .
If they were closer I'd buy them right fast !

My Lawnboy from the late 60's. I also have another from '64. I've run this one about 10 yrs. now.

I don't understand why anyone would buy another type of lawnmower. You can't wear them out, it weighs about a third of my neighbors mower and always starts on the second 2 finger pull. A tip is to shut the gas off and let him run out of gas instead of using the switch.

He lives on 91 octane no corn gas, and Saber mixed @ 32:1.
