Just to clarify.....I deserved to go to jail.

I needed locked up for awhile to get clean. That was the best thing that ever happened to me.

Interesting on the universal Stihl coil , 026-044 coil, I thought that the poly flywheel coil was needed for those models. Apparently it’s not a problem? Or is there any other mods needed? I thought the poly coil had a start retard, is that the only downside to the 1300 coil? If so dose it make sense to just lob of the bottom leg on the 461 and advance the timing for it?

Only difference I've seen is that the 1300 coil has no retard for starting. Even with 6 - 8 degrees of advance that's never been a problem.

Cutting the bottom leg off of the 461 coil does nothing. We heard that rumor years ago, and proved it to be untrue.

At one time I used the 460/660 coil, but they've become harder to find used, and are pricey new.

HD-50. I hear it has different internals than the other saws for emissions.
