Looking forward to the digging in part!

What's going on with the handles. Can't they just fix that issue? It's like 50% of the times broken.r That means... You wanna have a new Husky? Buy it, great saw, but order also an extra break handle just in case.

I'm done already, decent teardown and some numbers. But unfortunately i don't have much time today. I will post the pics and the number stuff asap tomorrow!

Before i forget the saw on my bench is a brand new 565, the small brother of the 572xp. I did some research on the differences, they're even less like between the 545/550xp or 555/560xp.

dry weight (without brake handle)

I would say the 565 is 95% the same like a 572xp.

Only differences i have found so far, were the ignition modul, the filter and the lack of the known crankstuffers of the 5xx XP saws. Cylinder, piston, carb, flywheel, bearings all completely the same when you look at the part numbers

I've made pdf comparison about that

Stay tuned ;)

I really appreciate that they switched to torx screws!

I asked about that a bit back and was met with crickets. Is the first saw they have used these on?

I don’t generally use Husky saws for only a few reasons. Outboard clutches, (I’m aware of the ones that have inboards) the brake system because of the outboard clutch, and hex head screws.

Torx screws would make me seriously consider Huskys. Are they T-27 even?

Very interesting how it feeds from the front like a Stihl 461 or 661! Don't most 4 port Huskies feed from the sides?
