I'll keep you updated! If someone wants other or specific pic's of the saw let me know, my buddy can take some more, no problem (understandably, :D not of the saws innards like i will do later)
if possible Steph, a picture of them big bearings and seal, probleby easiest from the oil pump side, and as you said, later

I also heard they work quite a bit with the flywheel, would be interesting to see a pic on 560/562 vs 572 flywheel.

Its good to know this saw actually exists and is for sale in some saw shop half way round the globe. For a while I thought the 572 was some sort of secret conspiracy that was to be discussed on saw forums but never to be seen in the flesh!

Seems like they’ve learned from the teething issues of early 550/562.

except for the plastic... can't understand that. I mean the chain brake handle is a safety guard, for a reason. These things should not break so easy o_O broken twice on my 560xpg. Seems they didn't fix that.

I’ve dropped mine once or twice felling accidentally, had it roll over never broken it. Mine is a newer 2016 model year production though.

but broken out of the box on a brand new 572xp?

2/3 series handles are more sturdy, that new plastic is (still) to brittle imho
Maybe you should call the dealer and have a replacement handle sent. Seems like a production glitch to me more than durability issue.

Well, I'm glad they oriented the clutch properly (Ha Ha Ha).

I hope the new products from both companies exceed our performance and durability expectations.

And I hope they become available here during my lifetime!!!

Outboard clutches allow the saw to be more narrow, dissipate heat better than an inboard clutch, and tend to be easier on PTO main bearings. That being said, inboard clutches are nice for bar and chain service, if the new guy gets the saw stuck in the tree, etc... There is good and bad in both designs, for milling and stumping I prefer an outboard clutch.

I was hoping for an outboard clutch!

I wonder what saw holds more gas and oil 572 or 462?
Don't worry, I am sure that Steph will give us the answer when he gets his.!!
