Here is a little perspective my brother gave me. A top fuel dragster turns around 9500 rpm, give or take. In a 4.5 second run it turns 712 rpm and has to be completely rebuilt. We use chainsaws turning 12,000 to 15,000 rpm and get upset when one melts down in less than a couple hours. Just saying crap happens and that saw can be made to scream again. My saying is, just throw enough money at a problem and it will go away. Contact the builder and hope everything works out to your satisfaction.
