Got it from Duke. He had it listed as nos. Needed a bigger order so I took a chance. Matches the inside spikes.
I bought 6 of those they were nos
Looking for 4 point spikes now.

Can anyone give me info on a blue coil stamped 2018 PN586 88 03 04? Came on a new 372oe I picked up here in Sweden. Machine is OEM and all screws are t27. I don't have a tach...

That's listed as the "current" coil for the OE 372, 362, and 365. Crazy price of $130 here in the US. Unlimited coil 544 047 101 at $85 would be the far better way to go.

Doesn't say on the dealer site, but that's probably correct as the max RPM's of an OE are 13.5. Part number wise this only differs from the XT coil by the last digit, so it likely has the same updated start and advance curves. There was a service bulletin for the XT, so I'll see if there's a similar one for the OE. If that's the case, it ought to run real sweet in spite of it's price because the XT coil did wonders for the way those saws run.

OK, there is a service bulletin for this coil, from serial number 2017 4100 825. Well after the OE went away here in the US, and the reason, (my excuse lol), for not knowing about it. Probably a good coil to use but geez, $130 retail makes it pricey. May have to try one anyway. :)

Coil change was from analog to digital ignition with new charge capacitor to prevent the module from failing.
