I got a whole bag of those filters. They are only listed as fitting the 670, and as far as I know they only fit the earliest ones. They don't fit any Huskys. Jonsered then at some point switched the filter holders to the same spacing as the 266/288 filters. The 266 filters BTW will fit under the 670 and 630 covers, (but not 920's/930's). So, the 266/288 filter is what we need to use on the 670's.
Now you need to by a saw to fit the filter you got lol.So early 670s check!
Thanks Bob

Jred tank and wrap. Husky 266 engine. Aftermarket cover cut to fit. Had to put a 55 handgaurd so the brake would work. 2100 intake elbow and velocity stack. Rat rod!View attachment 127469
I think if I could find a 670 clutch cover it would work perfect. The aftermarket cover is not very good. I may just gut the dang thing and not worry about a brake on it.Nice! View attachment 127471
I had enough room on my full wrap set up. I wonder if my handle was a little more bent ?
That’s a aftermarket clutch cover? That pic was with the am clutch cover from HLS.

So true. The one on my 394 is a good strong one though.I find the am brake handles are weaker and break more easily. The plastic isn’t as good as oem. The magnesium cover itself seems fine. The brake triggers a bit too easily vs oem as well. This is on 394/5 am brake covers.

Cool. I like when an old saw is brought back. Glad I could help.BTW, Hi, How. That 120S turned out real nice and the guy was super happy with it. 'Preciate your input on it, buddy.
