Yes they are interchangeable. Will the top end /p&c/ and the flywheel from Husqvarna 444 be suitable for Husqvarna 44?
Be careful with the flywheel. Some had two keyways and you have to match the keyway to the coil you are using. The keyway with a "P" stamped beside it matches the blue prufex coil. The other keyway is for all other coils and also points type ignitions. Will the top end /p&c/ and the flywheel from Husqvarna 444 be suitable for Husqvarna 44?
Yes. But depending on what 365 jug is has. Some 365 with open port jug, then you will need a intake manifold. Not a big deal. There is a 365 Special for sale, local to me. Never been used.
Not sure about the price, it's not crazy high but not a bargain either. What would be a reasonable price?
I do have a 50 and a 51.4 mm cylinder kit for a 372. If I am not mistaken, they are a direct swap to the 365 cylinder?
looks like time for bearingsI took the H44 apart and thought I'd look under the bearing cover and see what I found
Bearings have no clearance, probably because they are dirty .looks like time for bearings
