I wonder when that came out and what the physical difference is over the 8010: bigger fan? It's like Echo bluffed making the biggest blower with the 8010 until the competition matched it, then threw a bigger fan on and a new name. They're getting serious.
Correct.

Also the 9010 has an orange stripe on the strap.

I was thinking that, I have been wanting to get a echo 361p for hiking around with thinning pecker poles.
I have two 355t which that one is based on. Damn reliable and light saw, starts easy and re-starts especially easy. You should buy one...

Now I wanna sell my 8010 and get a 9010
Or, maybe you could just put the bigger fan on it. I wouldn't be surprised to see the 8010 discontinued since they are the same price. I can't find the parts list for the 9010 yet.

Should I get the 355t instead? Or in addition too?.... that becomes the question...

Personal preference on top or rear handle for ground work. I like the 355 for cutting branch size firewood (one-handed, not recommended) but you get a bit less bending over with a rear handle. Looks like they are pretty much the same weight. No bad option there.

I bought my 303t for that very reason. I’ll probably never climb a tree for removal but wanted something top handle and light for 1 hand work.

I was thinking of picking up a new trimmer and blower but after years of back and forth I finally pulled the trigger on a kamado joe grill. Maybe next for the new yard tools!

What’s the take on the best top handle offered from either of these brands? I’m looking for one. The T540 is probably gonna end up too expensive, so count that one out.
I know an arborist who likes the performance of his echo 355t. But if you are one handing a lot I’m guessing the way your rosy palms and and the saws handle feel on each other are what really matter most. The price of the echo is hard to beat. I’m all ears for others opinions on this. Also, who is porting echo 355t’s these days?

Agreed. I would go with the an echo if the t540 is out of the race. I've never run a t435 but I just recently bought 2 439's. They are the conventional handle version of a 435. I absolutely hate the exhaust and dog setup. Mainly the exhaust. Its terrifyingly ugly and sounds funny

Best is probably the T540xpi (battery saw). It’s the strongest in-tree battery saw available and will run with the gassers. Echo 355t is the best priced option for a removal saw, but Muff mod and timing advance are almost mandatory. 355t is annoying to port. @Nutball might be willing.

@Gentleman is super professional and awesome to deal with. Not to mention these are the best deals of the season.
