What are the chances of the 562's being the updated version?

They have been or backorder for a while but we should have a few in this month. I believe the MSRP is $1010 for the saw with 14" b&c, 2 batteries, charger and bag. Sale price would be $808.

Checked one out at the local shop the other day. I like that it has a high and low switch, but personally I would have labeled them "5" and "11" strictly because of the sound.

So are heated handles the bees knees or what? I've never operated a saw that had them. Are they constant on or is there a switch? How strong is the heat?

Yes they are and yes they have a switch for off and on. Some say if it’s cold enough to need heated handles is too cold to cut wood. I disagree

A generator behind the fly wheel makes some juice to heat up the handles.
