All I know is this is what Husqvarna's parts order website says, numbers 18 and 19 are the two intakes.

One thing I surely don't understand is why on planet Pluton is the partition wall offered as a part to purchase, when there is no way to install it? The intake boot has it trapped. Or... am I missing something?

Doesn’t the rubber come off the metal plate on the cylinder side?

You sure seem to have a hard on for them lately! The cold weather getting to you over there or just old age
I am a big fan of Husqvarna, but they are not what they once were when it comes to delivery and service.
Before they had the updated IPL's, they had a website where customers could browse parts lists......ie, the service is not available since they upgrade to a better system....something they have been with for a good year and are still working on.

One of the interesting things with 550, 560, 562, was the changes they made along the way, there was not much left of the starting point when the series came to an end and mk2 came. It made some sense to see the IPL updates with the notes they had.

Over at yours, 592, 572, 562, especially the two first, available spare parts for the two should be a priority to have available, really a minimum requirement......

I love the innovation of Husqvarna, I still think they are #1, but they have lost what made them so unique, the background service system.
We always used to have so much fun about Stihl, how hard it was to find parts lists etc....now they can soon bully us

It's molded all one piece, and all three openings are joined together at that point.
I’m baffled. So it doesn’t come loose from the metal? Or are you saying it is molded together on the back side of the metal between the metal and the partition? That’s weird.

I'll be working on it tonight and will take a pic so you can see.

Good explanation, I’ve never done much with 200 series at all, my 300 series experience was with the red versions and they got discontinued and have been with the 500 series since. I just figured the parts issues was like it was with everything else I work on. A complete pain in the ass to get and quality lacking. I’ve experienced it with more than Husky so I really didn’t blame it on Husky. It seems to be the norm with so much these days weather it’s auto parts, tractor parts or construction equipment and heavy duty trucks. I see where your disappointment is coming from now.

No it doesn’t come out of the metal flange with out destroying it, at least mine didn’t. I don’t know why it has to come with partition wall ether, that part does blow and makes cost more too I’m sure.

I order Echo parts from a local dealer…3-6 days, on average and considerably cheaper.

Of all the brands we are dealer for, Echo is by far the best at parts availability, and there isn’t even a remotely close second, except for Kawasaki, which is also really good. Briggs and Stratton, Kohler, MTD, Hustler, Husqvarna, Ferris, and Honda, as well as all our aftermarket suppliers, are considerably worse. Part of it is that Echo makes so many of their own parts, including all pistons, cylinders, ignition systems, flywheels, and plastics, even carbon fiber stuff (blower housings, trimmer shafts). They even make plastic components for other brands, Stihl included.
Sorry for the derail.
