I don't know, maybe the antivibe. This one has springs instead of rubber buffers.

Husqvarna said it was built before they started naming the saws XP's. Just curious if there were any major changes over the years. Mine doesn't have a decompression valve. I think that's weird for an 81cc saw

Does anyone know who makes a quality am 288 top end. I'm tempted to bump my 281 up but I don't wanna go backwards or just end up with what I already have.

I put a huztl 288 top end on my 181 and it's been great! That being said if I had a 181 or 281 oem cylinder it would be wearing it.

Actually the xp designation appeared on those saws right before the number changed from 181 to 281.

Wonder if mine is an XP

If it is a 281 it is an XP, regardless if it doesn't say so on the number tag.

Btw, what's the serial number?

Also be aware that there often was no difference between a late SE and an early XP - it was just a designation change. I don't know how that was with the few XP designated 181s.
