Picked this beautiful 2101 up few months back. Pretty sure it doesn't have more than a handful of tanks ran through it.

Merican weights and measures, riddles, bent nail puzzles. Not much difference.

Welp, got another one delivered today. It has a b stamping on the jug and the rings look pretty thin. Piston and cylinder look great. Cleaned it up a bit fueled it up and it runs good. Needs some new oil lines and the clutch side lower muffler bolt hole is stripped. Over all in good shape!

Were you pleasantly surprised it was a thin ring or did you know already?
I had no idea that it was, I didn’t realize it until I popper the muffler off. Then I took off the top cover to check out the cylinder. Why are they more sought after? I do not know much about these bad boys but I love um!

Arguably faster. Definitely rare. There's a piston/ cylinder combo that gives more compression. Both are marked A,B or C depending on their metrics. Don't remember which is what.

A is the smallest diameter and moves up with with B then C the largest diameter, with a couple thousandths of an inch, The thin ring version I put together not long ago, runs well, but hard to find NOS rings,IMG_0686.jpeg

Whatever it is, I don't have it with mine, I have the chubby ring style, but that is ok. I'm not trying to theorycraft mine and squeeze every last bit of power from it, if I did, I would probably break it in the process! :D
