I've "done" exactly one saw in my life- my 2001-vintage 350. Piston and cylinder were good- just went all the way to bearings and seals in the spirit of "in for a penny, in for a pound". I think it's the "perfect" chainsaw if you're not a West Coast logger. I can't comment on the bewildering array of rebuild kit options. Only that I agree with every one who has said or implied that you won't be sorry with OEM or "high-end", name-brand aftermarket. Spend $35 and you'll eventually find out what came with the $135 choice that you didn't make...
