Not really sure what I'm going to do with the stack. I might use it on another saw. The full wrap is staying on it.Are you ditching all that west coast intake stuff?
Ya for sure - I'm interested if John's not lolAre you ditching all that west coast intake stuff?

How's the "668" compare to the 670?I have had these for a few years,672,668,670 and a 625 with a full skirt twin ring 630 piston guess it’s a 635.View attachment 218751
They’re pretty close,But I think the 670 has a slight edge on the 668.How's the "668" compare to the 670?
I don't know what's been done to them but stock for stock the 670 should be stronger.
Wrap fasteners:i have a few saws to build and no fasteners
working on a very nice 272 builder today.
i ordered a 500 12.9 metric variety pack off amazon.
that covers coil,av,air horn mount etc.
i found cylinder bolts at tsc .98 cents for 2

I don't think so. When I put a 272 cylinder on mine all I used was was the rubber piece that goes around the block. If you use the filter box from a 272 there is a brace that bolts to the case over the block. Is there a 272 piece that goes on top of the intake block & bolts to the case? 272 top end on a 625 II
