Home defense time lol I'm far more comfortable with a pistol in confined area's I've done the ar and shotgun runs in idpa it was ok and i know how effective they are but for me a gen 3 glock 22 with 180gr golden sabres or winchester sxt does it for me plus I've got like 20 mags i still use the old harries style on night shoots and in the safe it goes when not in use what do you guys use.20170306_213603.jpg

Remington 870 Tactical and an 80lb German Shepard.
The 870 is loaded with 00 Buck. The Shepard is loaded with teeth.
The sound of a slide being racked will strike fear in anyone with a brain. A low gutteral growl does about the same

Kimber Ultra CDP with night sights and 230g Federal Hydra Shok's along with Mag Light XL50! The 75-80lb black lab would also be at my side ready to attack!

I lost my dog of a lifetime about three years ago. Still botheres me. She was a black Shepard as well.

Yeah I have a black shepherd as well but he's 120 pounds and trained in Schutzhund for many years. Definitely old in dog years now but I still know he'd lay down his life for me. Until you train a dog week in week out under real world conditions you don't know if they have the heart to protect you. 20170112_192426.jpg

When we do bite work the helper hits him with a whip not a tap I mean hits that hurt. He changes his tone from a low tone growl to a hi pitched whine it pisses him off and he just bites harder. Anyone who thinks they have a dog that will protect them needs to join a club and train. You'd be surprised how many dogs are all bark no bite.

Found in Ohio in county south of me. Was told during Jan ML season. All 2nd hand info.
Was told the guy called game warden to try and get tag so he could mount it with wire in rack. From what I understand they took the deer and ageing it etc. Dont know if they were giving back later.
I'd be dang sure they got all my info and somehow took pics of who was taking the deer.

Look close at the 2 long brows and the 2 shorter kicker ones out the front.

Pic I took of the pic that was being shared at work.

No dogs in my house so Ill settle for the sound of the slide. Unfortunate for the intruder because they may not hear it after the first loud noise they hear.IMG_2035.JPG

Dad had the deer rack officially scored for Ohio big buck after the drying period.

179 5/8

Dad wasnt to far off from his rough green score it did, measured him just under that.

Anyone have a set of these? Made by Chiappa to slide in a 12g break barrel. They are reviewed well from the few reviews I could find. I just bought a set for fun with my sawed off 20" 12g I'm building. I have the notion to shoot a few rounds through the 357 and 44 mag barrels, but may sell off the rest. I would love to build a pistol that would take these as interchangeable barrels like a tc. I really need less hobbies. image.jpg

Seems to be right on with the 43 and shield. With better trigger pull to the slim.

Info please. good and bad if you have shot them.
