I traded a Stihl 021 chainsaw for a Old imperial arms .32 s&w pistol. From what I gather, it was made between 1910 and 1917. It is a hammerless revolver. When you pull the trigger, there is about a 10 second delay before it shoots. Has anyone even seen this before?

Yup, once Freedom Group took over Marlin the quality of their lever guns went down the chitter.

If you want a Marlin made before FG it's got to be a JM stamped rifle
Like this....

No remlins.... The metallurgy is poor and key parts are not hardened.. sad demise of a past great. Thanks Remington.

Any ideas on the delay between squeezing the trigger and when it actually fires? I shot it 5 times and three of the 5 there was a delay. 1 of the 5, there was no delay and the 5th time it didn't shoot.

I bought fiochi bullets for it. I thought that was a good brand. Maybe I just got a bad batch or something.
Thanks

The only thing the gun does is hit the primer and it should be a boom. Fiocci is usually decent but 32 shells likely sit a long time. You can email them and tell them about the issue. I've had good luck with simillar bullet issues for all but Remington. They were not helpful when I had 12 out of 40 30-30 bullets not fire. They said gun issue. Federals fired fine.

I will try to contact them and see what they say.

We watched 3 groups of deer coming in tonight to eat.. The herd made it in first. Does and little ones.

Around 22+ just counting off the top.

Nice! We had 8 above the house tonight. I guess we didn't get all of them. :)

Anyone have any reloading stuff they want to trade off or things you want/need? I'm thinking about starting a reloading swap thread. I have a bunch of 45 stuff and no 45s. Also some dies I'll never use. I always need something;)

Whatchu in need of?

I'm sitting very well on 45 components, but that has never stopped me before from wanting more.

I know I've got a bunch of 357 brass, a lot of its new.

I could really use 308 Federal Brass from FGMM

Start up a new thread.

I think I have some 45LC and 454 casull brass left over. Once used.
Needs cleaned bad now after setting years. Has a blackish tarnish.
