We missed the hen. Twice, too much choke and not enough leader.
I don't remember if it was a CCP or a PPS that I shot, side by side w/a Glock 43... Either way, the Glock was good but the Walther was better, in every way. I shot it more accurately, it was more comfortable, it's recoil pulse was a bit softer and it's slide had a lighter spring. None would prevent me from buying the Glock, but I could see the Walther appealing to many more shooters, especially smaller women, physically handicapped (or otherwise low hand strength people) and the generally recoil shy out there... I very well may buy one. I REALLY wanted the 43 but after shooting 50rds each side by side, the Walther was demonstrably better...
I actually like it better being ambidextrous, but yes, it does take some getting used to.
I'll have to look at mine to see what brand it is as it's either a Champion or something like a Whirly Bird? Either way it's a single stack auto feed and was about $200 IIRC. It will do doubles (handloading the 2nd) but not the greatest. It will go between 30-60yds depending on the trajectory angle. The foot switch is very nice. Eventually I'll buy a nice used trap thrower with the wobble feature as you know where it's coming from, but no idea where it's going to go for every shot. Makes it a bit more challenging. Since it's purchase (given the range in my backyard) shotshells and clays have a short lifespan around here.Anyone have an automatic feed electric clay target thrower or recommend where to start looking. Not interested in hand thrower or spring mechanical anymore. I believe a few hundred dollar investment would pay off in shells and pleasure by kills in the long run.

Nice work!!!!
Will he get it mounted?
I'm not a bird hunter at all, I've never done it. But aren't the dogs supposed to go after the downed birds?
If you're looking for inexpensive, look at Champion or Do All.Anyone have an automatic feed electric clay target thrower or recommend where to start looking.
