I love this Beretta 92fs. I know that I don't have the knock down power of the.45, but the recoil for me is very manageable. I bought the grips aftermarket form Israel. As you can see it enables me to mount a light or lazier on it quite easily.View attachment 41103
Have you saw the new aluminum grips they have out now?

How much does that increase the size of the grip?

Dan Wesson 1911 is barely higher than the others and is a lot of upgrades.
I DO want their 6" Razorback in 10mm. It would be a fun gun for sure!

The xds is small and compact. Shoots low and I know it. Great gun for 15' or less. I want to get an FN now that more holsters are available or I'll just get a Glock 23 or 19.
I have a GenIV 23 + a Storm Lake stainless match barrel (shoots lead and no Glock waist on the brass) but I may be sending it down the road. I inherited my Dads Sig P250 carry in .40 recently and shoot it much better. He gave me the 250 after I talked Him into buying a P320 which shoots like a dream. It's like a Glock, only much better.

Glock fan here. I edc the 19 and 32, both gen3's. Muh big bore is a 5.5" Ruger Redhawk stoked with LBT's over generous doses of IMR4227 or H110. :applaudit:
.44 Mag or .45 Colt? Both are fine rounds (the .41 mag too) in a Redhawk or Super Redhawk. I love the Colt but currently have a 4" 629 and am about to inherit a Super Redhawk Alaskan in .44 as well so I will likely be in the .44 business for the rest of my days, though I DO dote on my .357 and Dad's 6" S&W in .41 Mag... His Python is mighty nice too! I will have another Ruger Bisley though, but it'll be in the blackhawk frame for the longer barrel and adjustable sights instead of my old 5.5" Vaquero, though it shot well. 270-310gr WFN hard cast shot the lights out in it.

As far as 1911s, I have been shooting Dad's MKIV 70 series for about 27 years now and know it inside-out. I can DA/SA triggers (Beretta 92, Hi-power, Ruger P89 etc) but prefer them in revolvers, or just single action. Outside of the DW I mentioned above, if I bought a new 1911 currently, it would be a SIG as they impress me the most for the $$$ spent. Their Round butt in Commander size is a delight.

Just a little fooling around this morning. Most time I've had yet with this EOtech XPS2. The more I shot I realized I could see the target much better with a dimmer setting. Plus it wasn't fastened down to start with.

Then back to 75 yards, resting on truck tool box. First five shots are up top before I made another adjustment. I'm happy with it now.

Anderson lower with a PSA kit. BCM stock and grip, I love.
