I bought a roll of 80 grit stuff at a garage sale and after reading this I started using it, transfer goes away much faster, and it damages nicisyl way less than rubbing & rubbing & rubbing with finer sandpaper.

I looked through the ads listed here and yes, the 3M company serves grit scotch, I bought a box in the supermarket and there is nothing written there, the fights are for $1 each, I will take a photo tomorrow

‘ScotchBrite’ is a brand of 3M products.

It is sold in different markets, including: medical (dermal abrasion), auto body (refininshing), furniture making (sand paper replacement), metal finishing, janitorial (floor buffer pads), etc.

The type, coarseness, and density of the mat and abrasive vary considerably, and are typically color coded by market. Other companies sell similar products under different brand names.

Most of us are familiar with the dishwashing green and blue (‘no-scratch’) pads.

If you want something different, check out an autobody or metal finishing supplier.

I've only used the green for the simple fact it was free .

The thickest one can be unscrewed into 4 3" discs, and the smaller ones are 2" and covered with epoxy
