Just flood it...They need to get rid of some blue green algae first. Then knock down a few water sheds and let Cross Creek roll on it's own again. And then stop people from building in a flood plain.
Rain off and on all night.
Just flood it...
They’ll move..
Everyone wants waterfront...In the ‘40s & ‘50s people built cabins along the Meramac in south St. Louis county. Mostly on ten twelve foot stilts. Then in the ‘60s, put in trailer parks and subdivisions. Came the rains in ‘73 (?), all that flooded from Eureka down to the river’s mouth on the Mississippi.

Until they don’t...
Might take 20 years, might take 100..
Worked in my old stompin grounds in 1993. They had a 10 mile wide "lake" from the foot of the hill in Carrollton, MO south to Waverly, MO for weeks and weeks. The cemeteries had caskets popping out of the soaked ground and floating away. All the businesses that I remember growing up at the foot of the hill going south turned into a ghost town after that 500-year flood.Just flood it...

Whenever I see a bursting river just flushing downstream, I see a *s-wordload of wasted water that could be used for all sorts of good stuff..Worked in my old stompin grounds in 1993. I’d build dams and make lakes all over the place..
I’d love to make an irrigation lake up at the 40..
Bout 2.5 acres would work.

And water for the pasture in August.
