When the neighbors place sold up the road they wanted 5k more an acre for the river frontage side of the road. Just a bluff, no way down to it. At least it wont flood.

Whenever I see a bursting river just flushing downstream, I see a *s-wordload of wasted water that could be used for all sorts of good stuff..
I’d build dams and make lakes all over the place..

The river floods yours without a dam...

Too violent to control without a lake the size of Stockton..

Then after 30 years they fill themselves in with silt.

Not if properly maintained and designed..

You CAN NOT let cows run in it if you want to keep it decent..
Must have vegetation and rip rap around the edges.

I was thinking of the local reservoirs. They need to dredge Tuttle Creek bad! There was alot of times this yes they had it at full discharge and it hadn't rained in weeks.

I had to run to town and get some fuel, so I stopped and took a few pictures of the neighbors reservoir
I’ll post them up with explanations tonight.
