Was raining three hours ago and the Guessers guessed that the chance for rain in the next eight hours for each hour is at least 65% For a whole lotta Yesterday's creek flow has been a gallon of less a minute, it's been higher than this a few times which is at least six feet deeper at the spot this pic was taken, while standing in a foot of water may step out front for a morning shower itsi pouring now

An update from the edge of White Creek; a few feet closer than when the raging creek pic was shot. Rain eased enough to take the tablet out in it to get a"now" picture. When I see this creek I always want to do something with what is there. Today I'd like to remove the brown dirt from the flow to raise my property a bit. In the high volume flow I wanted to corral enough of that energy to never need pay for electricity again! Oh well

Noodles are near same color as soft maple.

How big was that stick? And where did you get it?

Chinese Elm would be my guess, as it's not native to the US, but there are a lot of them planted in Urban areas for small to moderate yard trees. They are an ornamental tree, and I've never seen one over 12-14" DBH.

14-16 ish. Paper bark birch jumped into my head I first saw it but I thought that was a hardwood.

A few chunks of it in the unofficial wood dump on Easton Saxton road. I saved a couple small squares I made.
