I see Wayne is screwing off on third shift.

The best noisemaker I have is my Remy Pro 88 gear drive.

I'll have you know I was home and off company time by then.

I don't, but I'm going to work on that. If I find a place, I'll let everyone know.

I bet I could come down there and run Matt’s 346. [emoji106]

I’m making it rain. [emoji56]

Twice now I start out the door to put some time on the Farmertec and it started raining again.

I B D rainmaker. [emoji6]

Keep trying to run that saw. The soybeans need it.

Could you come to my place and run saws, please?
We have not had any measurable rain for a while...

Sand burs, it’s that time of summer.

Conditions are right for pulling them out.
Years ago I’d fill up a couple bushel. Not very many now as I have kept after them.

The seeds traveled over here from the school grounds via the dog walkers/dogs.

At least they aren't the mean purple one yet.

Here are couple of really cool features:

I learned it pays to store it partially raised when it’s raining, because the box is watertight.

This is the best. There is a spring-loaded jack retractor, which can be reversed so as to avoid spending three days cranking down a five ton jack.

Jim’s Trailer Sales in Topeka really got me a good one here, and the price was right. This is the best place to get a trailer, unless you’re good enough at it to build your own. Probably a lot of alignment jigs involved in getting this to sit, lift, and ride straight. Whenever I try welding, stuff bends up weirdly.

Keep an eye on the paint chips. I have seen these load trail dump trailers up here and know a guy that owns one and the paint they use sucks ballz. My friend who owns one is already looking at selling his as the trailer is pretty much down to the bare metal even on the exterior of the dump box. I know they all will do this over time but I’ve seen older ones in better condition paint wise.

Thistle?

Easy to avoid as they grow tall if left alone.

Sand burs lie in wait low to the ground for a sneak attack. [emoji37]
No our sand burrs start green like those then turn purple green and will go plumb thru a bike tire no problems then they turn brown later in season. The purple variety are almost as strong as goat heads.

I bet they don't use paint anymore. A lot of the bigger trailer companies are using powder coat now. I know big Texas and a few others are. Looks great for a while but doesnt stick well. Most of the time the problem is they don't sandblast them well or at all b4 coating.
