Farm Boss 310 is cured! [emoji108]

About the best one I’ve put together yet. [emoji848]

Must have lined up my lucky stars.

Even the safety chain works excellent.[emoji15]

Todays shenanigans:
I noodled in half about eight big ones, they don’t show in the picture. Trailer frame and rails look bent a bit but axles still have travel

Truck pulled it just fine so that’s encouraging.

Some of the logs were quite wet but the walnut is definitely seasoned.

Does this look like two tons? It’s a 16’ trailer.

Maybe 2 tons, but your trailer is fine with that load. Should be easy peasy for your truck too.

3500 lb axles, rated payload 5500 lbs. It's the most I've pulled so far. I'm thinking I might try to rent a travel trailer this fall, maybe an 8K, big enough to house us comfortably, just to see how it does. Rated to 13K, but I think the gasser would stumble dragging that up a mountain pass. I'm in the early stages of learning about big trailer pulling. I'd imagine the RV rental place would have people more knowledgeable than I, or so I'd hope anyway hehe

My neighbors pull a 27ft camper with a 2001 Ford Expedition with the 5.4 all the way out to Arizona every winter. He has the load leaving hitch and all and it does pretty good for him. So I'm sure you 6.0 2500 would just be the over kill.

Where did he leave the hitch!

Don’t count on them knowing *s-word..

On that 2500, you want as much tongue weight as you can get.
Get that weight on the tow vehicle as you can.
You will have more control.
