Stripped it down far enuff to give it ‘the dip’.

So far, other than missing stuff, I can’t see why it was in the scrap pile. No felt play in the bearings and comp feels OK turning the flywheel.[emoji848]

We do have a leftover Farmertec piston kit for an 026. [emoji6]

I’d pull the jug and check the rod bearing.

Drop in a set of rings and go to town.

Check bore for sure later.

I'm still batting 1000. Looked at the rain forecast and it was 5%. Sprayed some weed killer and 30 minutes later we had a torrential downpour.
