The other *s-word in the pic is of no account.
Take it or leave it.
I know what you mean! I just wish John would have lined up the camera a little better so we could have seen the rest of that Honda and what it was attached to. There is a reason that they didn't have a Tecumseh, or a Briggs! I'm not sure why he had all that other junk in the picture...Looks like they are taking "it" and leaving the "wanna be" competition for the pretenders; after all, lives are on the line.
IKR??Looks like they are taking "it" and leaving the "wanna be" competition for the pretenders; after all, lives are on the line.
Did you catch something on fire to get that close up?

On my 120 amp century I run .030 flux. Works ok. Still could use more heat. I've welded up 1/2" with it like that on a vertical weld and it holds just gotta preheat things first.Howdy men.
Today’s project: Nancy took the wild one with her to visit an old friend, so I had a bit of time to myself. Now I can move the welder around more easily.
I’ll add a shelf for clamps and gloves and such one of these times, but this felt good to get done. Seems I need to be on the top heat setting for adequate puddling and penetration, but it doesn’t last very long before it starts cutting out. Might go down one wire size to .030 and see if that helps.
