Actually 2 miles.
The first picture I posted was supposed to be 46,000 feet.
The second picture I posted was just between Atlanta and Washington DC.
Are they making commercial airliners fly higher now than they used to?
In 1972 was told by pilot that plane was 40,000 feet. Grand canyon was a stretched worm, over the desert could count rail cars behind six engines. That was end of June heading back to Balboa Navy Hospital San Diego

Nice my SIL breeds some American Bulldogs for that stuff. A few of them are flat out spooky.
Yes, we used mixed pitbull terriers as take down dogs. Used cur mix hounds for chase and locating but when you got the Hogg bayed up, we would turn the bulldog loose and he would grab hold of a nose or a butt and keep the pig busy while you went in there and grab it by the hind leg.
Old buck was all business, absolutely not a pet.

Howdy.

Good day today. Did some chimney repair for e tree client. The cap had fallen to the ground along with several bricks. I cleaned his gutters and dealt with some tricky stormfall, but all went well. Used a paint roller to retain the cap stone.

Before you laugh, I am NOT a mason. I would have used marbles if I had them.

Butt end is 6” thick. Up rather high, but a ten foot step on a low pitch roof (with rubber floor mats for stability and shingle protection), and a chainsaw-on-a-stick let me change the weight balance and slide it down the other side of a big cedar that was conveniently situated there for my use. Smooth as a you know what.

Hope your day was good.
