Do you like ABS?
My parents thought they could pump brakes faster than the ABS mechanism.

The problem with abs is when you need to lock them up you can't.

Our adventure bikes have ABS and you have to make sure and shut it off if you go off road or you will have multiple "pucker" moments.

Abs, traction control, stability control are to make driving idiot proof. Can't be done. I say remove the idiot's from driving and get rid of all that garbage. I've been almost slung into accidents on dirt by traction control and stability control if it'd just let me alone.
Yes they need up the standards for driving test. Get some dumb *s-words off the road.

I don't like ABS. I'd rather feather with my foot.

I like ABS in that it allows me to turn the vehicle when hard braking, as opposed to just locking them up with no control. Saved my bacon a time or two. I am not fast enough (mentally of physically) to do what ABS can do in an emergency situation.

Last week we had two people come in complaining about their A/C not working. Pushed the on button and it worked just fine. I could go on, and on, and on, and on.[emoji53]

Barbara’s short term memory is gone. I have to show her how to run the air every times she goes somewhere by herself.

I answered a frantic call from her a mile from the house one day. Engine wouldn’t turn on.[emoji849]. I told her to put it in park and try again.

Fixed. [emoji37]

I should have also prefaced my comment with the fact that I only recently acquired a vehicle newer than the nineties, so my experience has been with the early generations of ABS. I have never been in a situation that actually triggered the ABS on a newer vehicle.

I make it work at the end of the alley with snow or ice on the pavement. A kind of anti skid brake system check.

Another light flashes when you spin one front tire. Not that I can’t feel it break loose. [emoji849]

Oops! A 44mm piston is a touch small for a 44.7mm bore. [emoji21]

The decomp valve on the MS260 cylinder should have given me a clue.

Well customer brought back the 261 I sold him said it wouldn't idle. Pulled muffler and p/c scored terrible. Checked gas and looks like straight gas. Called him he says no its stihl premium! I laugh, if that's the good oil I'd hate to see the cheap oil! I'll post pics later to night. Have a great day guys!
