Went to look at a trailer axle last night. Happened to mention that I collected a few chainsaws and the guy had to show me his Homelite 750 that he bought new along with a very nice Homelite 360, Stihl 064, and 200T. He also had a large collection of flat fender Jeeps. Needless to say, it was an interesting and long visit.

Did one of those Carl
Mine was that accordion style fuel line from tank to carb. Was cracked but hard to find.
Was acting same way.

This one is sound. Had to insert a golf tee to shut off the flow while the carb was off.

Cleaned up around the coil as it was piled up with crud.

Darick got this old girl given to him the other day.....I converted it over to a rim drive so we can put a 1/4 dime tip carving bar on it....never seen one of these older Tanaka's (echo built) with a rear handle before.....

It does look a lot like a 290 Echo.

Made it.....
Stop by Monroe, WI and pick up some Spotted Cow to take back with you. You're not too far from there on your way back, unless you're in a hurry.

Brats, cheese curds, Spotted Cow, and Packer football, Cobey. You're really in God's Country now! :ARMS1::ARMS1::ARMS1:

As for my stumpy 395. Adjusted the H clockwise little over 1 turn and it will not go anymore. Still four strokes at 12800 rpm and it does start better now.
Your carb has developed issues..
Carb's are treacherous, and need to be suspected at all times for all issues...

Could be needle and seat, could be spring..
